ANTIOCH TRAINING SCHOOL
Why a Training School?
At Antioch, we own the training and sending of our people to love God and minister to others regardless of their location and vocation. For the past 30 years, thousands of students have found the school to be catalytic in establishing Kingdom values and in empowering people to live fully fruitful lives for Jesus, no matter their stage of life.
Christ has given His Church all they need to grow in unity and maturity - which includes being trained to obey Jesus and minister in His name wherever He has us. (Eph. 4:11-13)
Antioch Training School exists to
& COMMISSION
church members to know and love God, love their neighbor, and make disciples as they discover their unique calling within the body of Christ. We do this through Biblical and practical teachings, a cultivation of devotional worship, and intentional fellowship as we aim to encounter God, walking in greater wholeness and holiness, and discovering the joy of doing ministry and impacting those around us with the Gospel. We believe that as our beliefs, affections, and practices are being formed and aligned according to Christ’s teaching, God will work powerfully in our lives and through our lives.
EMPOWER,
EQUIP,
OUR TRAINING SCHOOL THEMES
-
Throughout our school, we seek to cultivate our love relationship with the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit through surrender, worship and obedience. We grasp and cultivate a lifestyle of submission to God’s Word, grow in confidence in hearing His voice, and practice the spiritual disciplines.
-
Through a revelation of our identity in Christ and the choice to continually seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit, we believe that we will evidence the fruit of the Spirit in our lives while also finding new grace to desire and exercise the spiritual gifts. Along the way, we humbly grow in godly character while experience greater freedom as the Lord reveals our need for it. Ultimately, we aim to grow in a set apart lifestyle that includes cultivating and maintaining healthy relationships and community.
-
Like Jesus, we want to be in the world but not of it, and this includes ministering to others and engaging our flawed culture from a Biblical worldview. We learn how to share our testimony alongside the Gospel with the intent on making disciples of all who seek to follow Jesus.

Frequently Asked Questions

The purpose of the Unique Calling Project is to discover and articulate one’s unique calling as discerned with the Lord and in community during one’s ATS experience. Students will explore their calling through reflection on their past journey with the Lord; evaluation of their personal mission in life; processing individual gifts, passions and experiences; and research or a mentorship experience. They will then reflect on lessons learned over the year to construct a personal calling statement.

We also have several major events which include Orientation, Fall Outreach, World Mandate, and Spring Retreat. If we have a major event on a weekend, we aim to not have class that following Monday.

On-site childcare is not provided, but we do budget to help offset childcare expenses. Generally, children do not attend class, but certain exceptions can be made depending on the circumstances.
