Church Planting
We believe that the local church is God’s plan A to fulfill the Great Commission and to reach unreached people around the world with the good news of Jesus. For 30 years, local churches in the Antioch Movement have been doing just that. Since 2013, the Antioch Houston Family of Churches has already trained and sent about 30 people long-term to the nations, and are continuing to send more.
We seek to partner with other Antioch churches and organizations to see the Great Commission accomplished in our lifetime by seeing church planting movements among every unreached people group in the world. Will you be a part of seeing this coming to pass?
CPX: Church Planting Exploration
CPX (Church Planting Exploration) is a course intended for people who are in Lifegroup, have completed ATS, and are (or might be) interested in the nations - whether as a sender or a sent one. CPX provides an opportunity to explore God’s heart for the nations and the practicalities of what that might mean for you and your family.
Church Planting Internships
We offer volunteer internships throughout the year with church planting teams across the Antioch Movement. This is an opportunity to spend 3-11 months as part of an international church planting team. Participants get the experience of making disciples, living cross-culturally, and working as a team under seasoned leadership. This internship experience helps people determine if long-term church planting is right for them.
