Join us this Easter Sunday as we celebrate the Risen Jesus together at Levy Park at 10am!

We’ll gather for a celebration service at 10am at the pavilion at Levy Park. During the service, we’ll have a time of “flowering the cross” — we will invite each person to bring a flower up and put it on the cross, as we celebrate the life of Jesus. Bring a flower for each member of your family or friends attending together! We’ll also have a special time for kids during the service. After the service, feel free to hang around the park and spend time with one another! Picnics and games are highly encouraged. There’s also an awesome playground for kids right next to the lawn where we’re gathering.

Donations for Benavidez Elementary School

On Easter Sunday, we’ll be collecting donations for our partner school, Benavidez Elementary! Bring one of the following items for us to collect and deliver to Benavidez for their neighborhood wrap-around service resource closet. School uniforms, kids shoes, and lunch kits are the biggest current needs to help support this school.

  1. School Uniforms: for both boys and girls, various sizes (reference photo here)

    1. Polos: short sleeve or long sleeve; colors: white, yellow gold, or navy blue

    2. Bottoms: pants, shorts, or skirts; colors: black or khaki

  2. New Kids Tennis Shoes: various kids sizes for both boys and girls

  3. Lunch boxes with drinking cups or bento boxes

Bring donated items to our Easter service at 10 am at Levy Park and place the items in the plastic tubs by the welcome tables.  We will deliver the items to Benavidez the next week.

Parking:

Street parking is available (pay attention to parking signs & time limits!) as well as a paid parking garage at the corner of Richmond and Wakeforest (2925 Richmond Ave., Houston TX 77098).

Seating:

We will have chairs set up on the pavement in front of the pavilion underneath a tent for the service.

If you’d like to enjoy the park after the service, feel free to bring a picnic blanket!
